<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which enables the application of a plurality of kinds of protective materials without impairing the production efficiency of a main production line in a production line for vehicle bodies. <P>SOLUTION: The production line for the vehicle bodies 10 is provided with a welding stage 11 producing the bodies of a vehicle by welding vehicle parts, a coating stage 12 installed subsequent to the welding stage 11 and coating the vehicle bodies, a coating protective material coating stage 13 installed subsequent to the coating stage 12 and applying a coating protective material which protects the coating of the bodies, and an equipping stage 15 assembling the vehicle parts to the bodies coated with the protective material. In the protective material coating stage 13, a plurality of coating sub-lines 21-23 are installed in parallel so that different kinds of coating protective materials may be applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
