PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in the vending of cooled or warmed canned beverages, frequent switching of a heat source side heat exchanger between an evaporator and a condenser destabilizes a refrigeration cycle because different refrigerant amounts present in the heat exchanger phases cause an excess or shortage of refrigerant in the heat source side heat exchanger to be delivered to or introduced from the refrigeration cycle. SOLUTION: Even when an internal cooling load is temporarily removed, a refrigerant circuit can be switched to an outdoor evaporator 51 via an expansion valve 52 to continue a heating operation by a heat pump, and an electric expansion valve can simply be switched to accommodate internal cooling load regeneration.
