PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing agent for a liquid crystal dropping method which has excellent adhesiveness to substrates of a liquid crystal display element as well as excellent handleability in the manufacture of a liquid crystal display element by a dropping method, hardly causes liquid crystal contamination, and allows the manufacture of a liquid crystal display element displaying a high-quality image with less color unevenness. SOLUTION: The sealing agent for a liquid crystal dropping method contains a radical polymer of glycidyl (meth)acrylate having a weight average molecular weight of≥1,000, a (meth)acrylic resin, a photopolymerization initiator and a heat curing agent.
