PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for objectively evaluating the degree of blur at the surface of a pestle top as an evaluation of sticking phenomenon that powder adheres to the surface of the pestle top when making tablet. SOLUTION: The degree of blur at the surface of a pestle top can be evaluated by measuring a color difference before and after making tablet with time. Further, sticking possibility can be evaluated from a variation in color difference for each making tablet. This enables applications to select a prescription, a manufacturing method, and processing method of the pestle that prevents the occurrence of the sticking. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
