PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems in forcible cooling in a conventional boiler furnace that a furnace temperature cannot be measured as a cooling target temperature is decided based on a temperature outside of the furnace, and draft cooling cannot be stopped at a proper time, though the forcible draft cooling is performed to reach the cooling target temperature by distributing air into the furnace. SOLUTION: According to the method and system for stopping draft cooling system in forcible cooling of the boiler furnace, the draft cooling is stopped when a furnace upper thermometer 11 inside of the boiler furnace reaches a furnace target temperature lower than the cooling target temperature, in the draft cooling system in forcibly cooling the boiler furnace on which the cooling target temperature is decided.
