PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration reducing device for an internal combustion engine, which provides control design in a wide frequency range even when a vertical resonance frequency of a mass and a spring is not further sufficiently reduced than a control target frequency. SOLUTION: A damping force generating means 10 is arranged on a damping target part 20 of the internal combustion engine and provided with: a mass part 12 in an opposite side of the arranged face to carry out damping of the damping target part 20 by using reaction force of exciting force with respect to the mass part 12; a vibration state detecting means 25 for detecting a vibration state of the damping target part 20; and a control means 70 for controlling damping force of the damping force generating means 10 by correcting indicated generative force determined on the basis of a detection signal of the vibration state detecting means 25, by a correction filter 72 with characteristics substantially matching frequency characteristics determined by dividing the indicated generative force by actual generative force.
