PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein peeling-off and deviation of a plastering block are likely to occur early after the slope protection construction work because the force for connecting the plastering blocks mutually is weak in the conventional slope protection construction work by use of conventional plastering blocks and the construction work depends on the degree of flattening of a surface for laying greatly and peeling-off of the plastering block is likely to occur the most and adjustment of a level for laying becomes difficult if there is great difference in height between a recessed part and a projecting part on the surface when using these plastering blocks. SOLUTION: In this precast concrete block used in the slope protection construction work by laying and arranging a plurality of blocks in lines to cover a slope, connection devices are protrudedly provided at positions being adjacent and continuous when laying the blocks on the surface for laying and in recessed step parts formed in at least a part of a peripheral fringe on one face side of a body. In this slope protection construction work, mortar is filled into the recessed step parts being adjacent and continuous, formed in at least a part of the peripheral fringe on the surface side of the precast concrete block body, and provided with the connection devices protrudedly, respectively.
