An expansion joint device for a structural panel of a building is provided to increase constructability, to cut down on construction expenses, to prevent cracks in a joint of a structure, to prevent corrosion and a leakage of water and to secure service life for a long term. An expansion joint device for a structural panel of a building, for housing the expansion and contraction of plural structural panels(20) installed to the inside and outside of a building according to a variation of temperature, is formed by connecting adjacent ends of the structural panels with a synthetic resin waterproof joint(40) having elasticity and waterproofing capacity, wherein a synthetic resin waterproof coating layer(21) is formed on the surface of the structural panel. The synthetic resin waterproof joint is provided with an expansion housing(41) having the width corresponding to the expansion length set by expansion quantity according to temperature of each structural panel and two connections, and placed on the adjacent ends of the adjacent structural channels, wherein the two connections of the synthetic resin waterproof joint are connected to the synthetic resin waterproof coating layer of the structural panel in one body. |
