A printer is provided to achieve easy formation of color resist charging grooves, prevent color resist charged in the color resist charging grooves from being easily hardened, and remove bubbles easily which are formed within the charged color resist, thereby printing a color filter layer having a print density of a desirable level. A gravure(100) is formed in one shape of a roll shape or a plate shape. A blanket roll prints a color resist transferred from the gravure on a substrate. In the gravure, plural color resist charging grooves(110) for receiving the color resist are recessed from the surface to transfer the color resist in plural pixel areas formed on the substrate as being spaced from each other. At least one color resist charging groove of the plural color resist charging grooves has a shape which looks continuous as much as a length corresponding to a length connected to at least two pixel areas of the substrate so as to transfer the color resist received in the one color resist charging groove to at least two pixel areas of the plural pixel areas formed on the substrate as being spaced from each other.
