摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for inkjet (IJ) recording which are excellent in image uniformity among various recording mediums and capable of suppressing an occurrence of the nonuniformity of a line width, color nonuniformity or others due to ink blurring and unification of droplets and which are also capable of maintaining a uniform dot diameter in the case when an image part of a low dot density is recorded with a small quantity of liquid, and capable of making detailed recording in a high density and with excellent reproduction irrespective of an image form without depending on the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The IJ recording method comprises a undercoating solution applying process for applying on the recording medium an undercoating solution which contains at least one kind of surfactant at the rate from 0.001% to critical micelle concentration, in such an amount that makes the surface tension of a solution prepared by dissolving the surfactant in 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate at the crytical micelle concentration be 25 mN/m or less, a curing process for half-curing the applied undercoating solution, and a recording process for recording the image by discharging ink curable by irradiation with an activation energy beam onto the half-cured undercoating solution.
