<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of recording all of programs reserved using other recording devices (recording terminals), if recording reservation time is overlapped with the other due to change of airtime etc. <P>SOLUTION: A recorder 10 comprises a communication control portion 113 connected to a recording terminal 20 capable of receiving broadcasting signals, a recording/reservation control portion 109 for generating a recording reservation information according to a user operation, and a memory 116 for recording the generated recording reservation information. The recording/reservation control portion 109 detects overlap of time among programs according to the recording reservation information recorded on the memory 116. The communication control portion 113 transmits notification of overlap to the recording terminal 20 when overlap is detected.
