METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FILTERING VIDEO NOISE, INTEGRATED CIRCUIT, AND ENCODER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for filtering video noise, and an integrated circuit and an encoder.

SOLUTION: A video noise filtering method is adapted for filtering the noise of a plurality of images of a video stream. Each image includes a plurality of pixels. This method includes the following steps; (a) a step for dividing images into a plurality of macro-blocks; (b) a step for classifying the macro-blocks into a plurality of smooth macro-blocks and a plurality of macro-blocks with noise, and for outputting pixels of smooth macro-blocks; (c) a step for classifying the pixels of each macro-block with noise into an edge pixel group and a non-edge pixel group; (d) a step for transmitting the non-edge pixel group to space vertical filtering and then to time filtering; and (e) a step for transmitting non-output pixels to space horizontal filtering and then outputting them.
