<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid having a large space on the upper side of a developer supply port, to make a sealing member less likely to be peeled by a developer cartridge, and to make developer less likely to leak out of a developing device during the supply of the developer. <P>SOLUTION: A container main body 225 has a toner supply port 225a through which toner supplied via the toner supply port 27 of the toner cartridge 27 passes, and stores toner in it. An elastic member 226 is disposed so as to surround the toner supply port 225a of the container main body 225, and is elastically deformable. The sealing member 227 is disposed on the surface of the elastic member 226. In addition, the sealing member 227 covers at least a part of the elastic member 226 so as to prevent the toner cartridge 27 from coming into contact with a side face of the elastic member 226 when the toner cartridge 27 is attached. Also, the sealing member 227 can be brought into contact with the cartridge supply port 225a of the toner cartridge 27.
