<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that makes it possible to enhance power conversion efficiency at light load or at no load. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion device includes: a series circuit constructed of a first switching element Qh and a second switching element Ql connected in parallel with a direct-current power supply vdc; a resonance circuit constructed of a capacitor Cri and the primary winding N1(Lp) of a transformer, connected in parallel with either Qh or Ql; an intermittent signal generator 12 that generates an intermittent signal instructing intermittent operation; a control circuit 13 that controls start and quiescence of the switching operation of Qh and Ql based on the generated intermittent signal; current detecting means CT, Rts, Vref, and Comp1 that detect a resonance current passed through the resonance circuit; and a timing generating means AND1 that generates a timing signal when the detected resonance current meets a resonance condition. In response to the generated timing signal, the control circuit restarts the switching operation of Qh and Ql in quiescence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
