<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for efficiently continuing communication between both a fixed node and a mobile node even when the positional relation of the both nodes is changed. <P>SOLUTION: This radio communication system is configured of: a fixed node; a first mobile node 1 for directly communicating with the fixed node; and a backup node as a second mobile node 2 for relaying communication between the fixed node and the first mobile node when the communication of the both nodes is interrupted. As the backup node, the node which stays in the communicable area of the fixed node in a long time is selected from among mobile nodes for directly communicating with the fixed node and the first mobile node. It is preferable that this staying time is calculated on the basis of a distance between the fixed node and the mobile node and the moving direction and moving speed of the mobile node, or calculated on the basis of an elapsed time since the mobile node enters the communication enabled area or the moving distance or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
