PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively execute static elimination on a front surface or back surface of a flat charged object in a short time by stably supplying a sufficient quantity of air ions required for the static elimination to respective places of the front surface or back surface of the flat charged object. SOLUTION: An ion generation/blast means 2 is arranged on the side of a first side X3 within both sides X3 and X4 of a static elimination object surface X1 of the charged object X, and an air suction means 3 is arranged on the side of the second side X4. The ion generation/blast means 2 sucks air from a suction opening 12 of its housing 2 by a blower 11, and spouts air containing air ions generated by an ion generation means 9 from an outlet 8 toward the second side 4 side along the static elimination object surface X1. The air suction means 3 sucks the air spouted from the outlet 8 from a suction opening of a housing 13 by a blower 16, and spouts it from an outlet 15.
