PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which can efficiently remove heat generated in a phosphor layer and an anode electrode.

SOLUTION: The light-emitting device is composed of a first base plate and a second base plate which are arranged so as to face each other and constitutes a vacuum container, an electron emission unit arranged on the first base plate and radiation barrier ribs which are arranged on the second base plate and formed along one direction of a light-emitting unit which emits light by electrons emitted from the electron emission unit and the second base plate and at intervals arranged on the outer surface of the second base plate.
