PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nondestructive inspection method which enables a precise measurement of the local plastic deformation degree of the metal material of equipment. SOLUTION: In the nondestructive inspection method for precisely measuring the local plastic deformation degree of the metal material of the equipment, ultrasonic waves with a predetermined frequency is made incident on the measuring target 10 by an ultrasonic probe 3 and a receiver 4 receives the waveform of the resonance frequency, produced in the measuring target 10, and a local plastic deformation analyzing means 7 analyzes the waveform of the resonance frequency received by the receiver 3 and measures the degree of local plastic deformation.
