METHOD OF SPECIFYING LEAKAGE COOLING TUBE OF CONDENSER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of immediately and surely specifying a leaking cooling tube of a condenser without stopping a turbine of an electric power plant. SOLUTION: The method of specifying the leakage cooling tube of the condenser comprises a sea water draining process for draining sea water from the inlet and outlet side water chambers on one side or those on the other side of the condenser having two pairs of water chambers, a film sticking process for sticking a predetermined wrapping film to a tube opening of the cooling tube in a tube plate of the one or other inlet side water chamber or the one or other outlet side water chamber from which the sea water is drained; and a leakage determining process for determining that the cooling tube is the leaking tube when the shape of the wrapping film of the tube opening changes into a predetermined state.
