PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve having a valve seat reinforced without applying a heat treatment thereto and manufacturable at low cost. SOLUTION: The solenoid valve comprises a valve body, a flow passage opened and closed by a valve element installed in the valve body, and the valve seat on the inner side of which the valve element is positioned, and at the bottom part of which a seat part brought into contact with the valve element is formed. The valve seat is formed of a sheet, press-fitted and fixed to a housing on its outer periphery.
