AGENT FOR DYEING KERATIN-BASED FIBERS

An agent for dyeing keratin-containing fibers, especially human hair, is comprised of a cosmetic carrier, and (A) at least one compound of Formula I, wherein each of R¹, R² and R³ is independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a C₁-C₆ alkyl group, a C₂-C₆ alkenyl group, a hydroxyl group, a C₁-C₆ alkoxy group, a C₁-C₆ hydroxyalkyl group, a C₂-C₆ polyhydroxyalkyl group, a hydroxy C₁-C₆ alkyloxy group, a sulfonyl group, a carboxyl group, a C₁-C₆ alkoxycarbonyl group, a hydroxy C₂-C₆ alkyloxycarbonyl group, a sulfonic acid group, a sulfonamido group, a sulfonamide group, a C₂-C₆ acyl group, a formyl group, a nitro group, a carbamoyl group -C(O)-NR⁴R⁵, or a -(CH₂)_nNR⁶R⁷ group wherein each of R⁴, R⁵, R⁶ and R⁷ is independently a hydrogen atom, a C₁-C₆ alkyl group or a C₂-C₆ hydroxyalkyl group; and n is number from 0 to 6, wherein R¹ and R² can form a 5- or 6-membered aromatic or heteroaromatic ring; and (B) at least one CH-acidic compound.
