An energy saving type smart window is provided to secure a visual field according to a variation of solar light, to cut off ultraviolet rays and infrared rays effectively, and to cut off a leakage of heat for heating purpose. An energy saving type smart window(100) includes first and second glass base plates(110,120) arranged at a certain distance to face each other, first and second oxide coating layers(130,140) provided to the surface where the first and second glass base plates face each other, a low emissivity coating layer(150) inserted between the second glass base plate and the second oxide coating layer, first and second electro-optical coating layers(160,170) provided to the surface where the first and second oxide coating layers face each other, an electrolyte(190) inserted between the first and second electro-optical coating layers, and a sealer(180) contacted to the surface where the first and second oxide coating layers and surrounding the side of the first and second electro-optical coating layers.
