PLASMA DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device which can perform interlace display while a first electrode (for example, a sustain electrode) is fixed at a constant potential.

SOLUTION: The plasma display device includes: a plurality of first electrodes (X1 to X4) disposed on a first substrate; a plurality of second electrodes (Y1 to Y4) disposed on the first substrate for generating discharge between the plurality of first electrodes; a plurality of third electrodes (A1, A2) disposed on a second substrate so as to intersect with the first and second electrodes; and a plurality of fourth electrodes (Zo, Ze) disposed between the plurality of first electrodes and second electrodes for controlling the discharge between the first and second electrodes. The plurality of first electrodes are fixed at the constant potential.
