<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heart catheter, providing a constitution in which a slide piece is engaged with a guide slit formed at an intermediate part of a cylindrical member, which works favorably without using other parts, and can be easily assembled in simple constitution without risk of failure after assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The guide slit 25 with which the slide piece 15 (12') is engaged is formed in the cylindrical member 8 (8'). A narrow part 26 having a width not allowing the sliding piece 15 (12') to pass through and expanding enough to allow the sliding piece 15 (12') to pass through by elastic deformation of the cylindrical member 8 (8') is formed continuous in the longitudinal direction relative to the guide slit 25.
