摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic material which can carry a high amount of fullerene or a fullerene derivative exhibiting catalytic efficiency when excited by light, can effectively increasing an irradiation efficiency of light, and has high catalytic efficiency, a low-cost, simplified manufacturing method therefor, and a chemical substance decomposition method using the photocatalytic material. <P>SOLUTION: The photocatalytic material is composed of a substrate made of a light transmitting material, and fullerene or a fullerene derivative carried by the light transmitting material through a specific crosslinking agent, and excited by light of a wavelength region of 200-850 nm.
