<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus which enables speedy current control response without large fluctuation of switching frequency and besides does not include non-integral harmonics in its stationary output. <P>SOLUTION: The control unit 3 of the power converter 2 has a current deviation calculating circuit 31 which calculates the deviation from the command of the current of a power converter 2, a vector angle calculating circuit 32 which calculates the vector angle of this deviation, a switching sequence logical circuit 34 which generates the next switching signal, based on this vector angle and the current state of the power converter 2, and a sequence starting circuit 33 which generates the starting signal of the switching sequence logical circuit 34 and can detect whether the power converter 2 is in a transit state or stationary state. The sequence starting circuit 33 includes such a synchronizing PWM means as to generate a starting signal when the power converter 2 is in a transit state and also make the generated frequency of the starting signal the multiple of the output frequency of the power converter 2 when the power converter 2 is in a stationary state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
