<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window opening/closing device which can open/close a vehicular window even if a vehicle is dipped in water or the like, and can prevent circuit members from being broken when a failure of an opening switch terminal or a closing switch terminal being connected to a power source line or a grounding line occurs, the failure being caused by a break of a connection line or a circuit pattern connecting between the opening switch terminal of an opening switch circuit and the closing switch terminal of a closing switch circuit, and a control circuit. <P>SOLUTION: According to the window opening/closing switch, a drenching detection element 25 which is conducted upon being drenched is connected to a base of a transistor Tr having normally closed terminals 21a, 22b connected to a collector thereof, and an emitter of the transistor Tr is connected to the power source line LV. Further, normally opened terminals 21c, 22c are connected to the grounding line LG.
