<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device preventing disconnection or a short circuit of a strip electrode formed in a region corresponding to a reflective display region, and to provide an electronic equipment having the device. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a reflection film 44 formed in a reflective display region R of an element substrate 21, a frame portion 11a and a belt-like portion 11b formed on the reflection film 44; wherein the frame portion 11a and the strip portion 11b are disposed closer to a liquid crystal layer 23 than the reflection film 44 and at least partially formed on a flat face in the reflective display region R, and a scattering region to scatter the light reflected by the reflection film 44 is formed in a reflective display region R on a counter substrate 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
