<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the utilization efficiency of light in an electro-optical apparatus such as a liquid crystal apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The electro-optical apparatus includes: a substrate (10); and a plurality of reflective pixel electrodes (9a) arranged in a display region (10a) on the substrate and each of which electrodes has a reflection face (9as) which reflects incident light.
