<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rough terrain traveling vehicle capable of suspending a power unit on a vehicle body frame having high weight balance and good vibration-isolating property with suspension parts of the minimum number, lowering the position of the center of gravity of a vehicle body, enhancing the air intake efficiency, enhancing the layout property of peripheral components of the power unit and the suspension parts, and concentrating the masses thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A cylinder 16 of a power unit 5 extends forwardly in a substantially straight manner, and a part from the cylinder 16 to a belt case 14 is formed in a substantially straight shape in side view of a vehicle. The power unit 5 is fixed to a vehicle body frame 2 by at least two suspension parts 31, 32 which are point-symmetric to each other with respect to the position G of the center of gravity of the power unit 5 in side view of the vehicle. The suspension parts 31, 32 are arranged on a rear upper part and a front lower part of the power unit 5, respectively. The power unit 5 is mounted on the vehicle body frame 2 in a slightly front-upward posture, and the suspension part 32 is provided on a fore end of a suspension arm 36 extending forward of a crank case 15 in a lower area of the cylinder 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
