<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily ink for an impact printer, excellent in safety as compared with conventional ones and also excellent in light fastness and durability of printed characters, and an ink ribbon and ink roll by using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This oily ink for the impact printer is obtained by incorporating a compound expressed by formula (1) [wherein, Xa<SP>-</SP>is a counter ion] or its derivative in a non-volatile oil agent. The ink ribbon is obtained by impregnating the oily ink composition for the impact printer with a fabric ribbon.
