<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle which enhances the withstanding pressure of its bottom part. <P>SOLUTION: In the bottle 10, a mouth part 11, a shoulder part 12, a barrel part 13, and a bottom part 14 are formed of a synthetic resin and integrated with each other through the biaxially-oriented blow molding. In the bottom part 14, a valley part 15 along a curved surface projecting downwardly in the direction of the center axis of a bottle 10, and a leg part 16 which extends along the direction of the center axis O and is swollen outwardly in the radial direction and downwardly in the direction of the center axis O of the bottle 10 from the valley part 15 are alternately and continuously provided around the center axis O. A ground contact part 17a is provided on a bottom wall part 17 which is arranged below the valley part 15 in the direction of the center axis O, and extends outwardly in the radial direction from the center part side in the radial direction of the bottle 10.
