PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line-installation tool in which a line is readily attached and attachment height of the line can readily be adjusted when installing the line between struts. SOLUTION: The line-installation tool P is composed of a synthetic resin and used for installing the line C on a strut 3 arranged in a standing condition at an adequate interval. The apparatus P is equipped with a strut-attaching part 2 composed of an insulator part 1 to which the line C is attached and opposite two clamping pieces 4 formed integrally with the insulator part 1 and a ring member 5 for spreading and contracting intervals of both clamping pieces 4 by rotation. In the line-installation tool, the strut 3 is inserted into a space between the clamping pieces 4 and both clamping pieces 4 are fastened to the strut 3 by rotating the ring member 5.
