PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a civil engineering work execution method for a slope etc., which enables a work machine to execute safe and efficient work at a location where the following work is to be carried out, in the vicinity of the work field. SOLUTION: The civil engineering work execution method is composed of: a first work execution step of towing the machine capable of working on the slope etc. by wires of two winches via right and left anchors separately fixed at upper portions of the slope etc. to execute the civil engineering work; a holding step of safely towing and holding the work machine by the wire of one of the winches after the preceding step; a replacing step of detaching the wire of the other winch from the other anchor, and allowing the detached wire to pass through an outside anchor arranged at an outside location after the preceding step, to thereby replace the other anchor; a second work machine holding step of hanging the work machine immediately under the outside anchor and safely holding the same after the preceding step; an exchanging step of detaching the wire of the one winch from the one anchor, and allowing the one wire to pass through an inside anchor arranged at an inside location after the preceding step, to thereby replace the one anchor; and a work execution step of towing the work machine by the wires of the two winches after the preceding step, to thereby execute the civil engineering work.
