PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide scanning type optical equipment which has simple structure, can provide a desired color, and can perform highly accurate laser beam scanning. SOLUTION: The scanning type optical equipment is characterized in that it has: a plurality of light sources 10 which emit laser beams having different wavelength bands; an electro-optical element 21 which scans the laser light beams emitted from the light sources 10 on a face to be projected 15 by changing refractive index distribution according to the magnitude of an electric field generated inside the element 21; and a control means 30 which individually controls the plurality of light sources 10 according to the scanning positions on the face to be projected 15 with the plurality of laser beams emitted form the electro-optical element 21.
