PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber coating line that satisfies flame resistant performance and non-halogenation performance during burning, that achieves non-halogenation without using metallic hydroxide, and that causes no deliquescent and bleeding phenomena. SOLUTION: In the optical fiber coating line in which an optical fiber and an optical fiber element wire 10 made up of the resin used for the coating of this optical fiber are coated with a coating material 11, the coating material 11 is composed of halogen having an oxygen index≥22 and a heating value≤25 (kJ/g) and of polymer alloy containing no metallic hydroxide.
