PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood for an endoscope retaining the favorable visual field of the endoscope by preventing easy accumulation of liquid in a space formation section in the hood for the endoscope having a tubular body detachably and externally fitted at the distal end of the endoscope and an irrigation solution supply tube connected to the tubular body and supplying an irrigation solution for irrigating an affected part. SOLUTION: The tubular body 3 has an external fitting section 31 externally fitted to the distal end of the endoscope 2, and the space formation section 32 provided at the distal end of the external fitting section 31 and forming a space for retaining a fixed distance between the distal end of the endoscope 2 and the affected part; and the circumferential wall of the space formation section 32 is formed with a plurality of through-holes 32a penetrating therethrough from its inward to the radial outward obliquely rearward and discharging liquid accumulated inside the space formation section 32.
