PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that ameliorate lumbago, coldness of the hands and legs, constipation, frequent urination or the like of a wearer. SOLUTION: The absorbent article has a vapor generation section G for applying vapor heated to a predetermined temperature to the skin of a wearer. The vapor generation section G is preferably attached to a circumferential region located beyond a front end edge or a rear end edge of an absorbent core 4. The absorbent article preferably includes means to prevent body liquid absorbed by the absorbent core 4 from moving to the vapor generation section G and/or to prevent vapor generated by the vapor generation section G from moving to the absorbent core 4, between the absorbent core 4 and the vapor generation section G.
