PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butt rod which can stably put an arm thereon, while forming an arm-putting portion without causing increase in weight. SOLUTION: This butt rod is characterized by continuously disposing an arm-putting portion 3 on the rod butt end of a rod 1 having an attitude on a rod axis X and forming the arm-putting section of the arm-putting portion 3, in an inclined state where farther rearward the arm-putting section is, the farther away it is formed from the rod axis X toward the rear side.
