The machine has a handling rotor (6) feedable over transfer stars with multiple handling positions, where the transfer stars and the handling rotor have retaining areas at outer circumference for containers (7, 8) e.g. bottle. The rotor is provided with devices for handling the containers. Power-providing rotors provided in the form of an inlet star (5), the handling rotor, a discharge star (9) and a transfer star (10) cooperate with one another and correspond with one another, where two handlings of the containers takes place under double circulation with the handling rotor.
