The connector has one component inserted into another component (10), such that a cylindrical outer surface of the component lies at a rotation-symmetric inner surface (12) of the component (10). The inner surface has a polygonal geometry with chamfered polygonal edges (13-15) in mounted condition of the components. The wall strength and elasticity of the latter component are matched with one another, such that the inner surface is elastically deformed by radial force to form a clamping connection with the former component after removing the radial force.
