A display method of a washing machine is provided to prevent misinterpretation of failure by displaying the reason why a door is locked, with letters. A display method of a washing machine comprises the steps of: sensing water level of a tub(S1); sensing temperature of the tub(S2); displaying that a door is locked because of high water level, with letters if the sensed water level of the tub is over a predetermined water level(S4,S5); and displaying that the door is locked because of high temperature of the tub if the sensed temperature of the tub is over a predetermined temperature(S6,S7). |
