An AB2 Laves phase titanium-based hydrogen storage alloy with a formula comprising Ti-Zr-Sn-Vf-Mn-Cr is provided to enable the alloy to be used for a hydrogen storage medium for supplying hydrogen into a fuel cell automobile and the like by absorbing or desorbing hydrogen at an even pressure of not more than 10 atm while increasing hydrogen storage capacity, and by improving hysteresis characteristics and sloping characteristics. A titanium-based hydrogen storage alloy comprises a formula represented by Ti0.75(Zr0.25-XSnX)A(VfVMnYCrZ), where A, X, Y, and Z are respectively atomic fractions of alloy elements, wherein A is a value satisfying 0.9<A<1.1, X is a value satisfying 0.01<X<0.1, V is a value satisfying 0.1<V<0.5, Y is a value satisfying 1<Y<1.5, and Z is a value satisfying 0.0<Z<0.5. |
