<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller that can limit the current of a driver which drives a motor, without using a comparator. <P>SOLUTION: The motor controller includes a current-limiting PWM circuit, which controls the drive signal which determines the voltage value to be supplied to the motor, and a driver which drives the motor, by supplying a current corresponding to the voltage value determined by the drive signal to the windings of the motor. The current-limiting PWM circuit has a speed detection section 121, which detects the rotational speed of the motor, and a PWM output section 125, which outputs from the detected rotational speed the drive signal that corresponds to the voltage value which enables a current value that does not exceed a predetermined current limit value to be supplied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
