<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a squib, surely applying a current to an electric circuit built in the squib, and having no risk of scattering a resin mold and broken pieces thereof when the squib is operated. <P>SOLUTION: This squib includes: a cup body; and a closing plug, which insulates a plurality of electrode pins from each other and holds the same to close an opening part of the cup body, wherein the inside of the cup body is provided with an ignition charge and an ASIC component, which is so constructed that the electric circuit including an ASIC and a capacitor is resin-molded, a heating element connected to the ASIC is disposed on the head of the resin mold, and a communication electrode for connecting the ASIC and the electrode pins is disposed at the bottom thereof. The top central part has an opening part enough to expose the heating element, and a cylindrical presser metal fitting fixed to the closing plug with the communication electrode of the ASIC component pressed to the electrode pins is installed while covering the peripheral edge of the head and the sides of the ASIC component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
