PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge fall preventing device quickly, inexpensively and easily installed, by designing the bridge fall preventing device that connects a bridge girder to a bridge abutment or a bridge pier as a plurality of kinds of ready made products and by mass-producing them. SOLUTION: The bridge fall preventing device is constituted to connect a bracket fitting 5 fixed to the abutment and bridge pier 1, and a bracket fitting 6 fixed to the bridge girder 2, by a connecting member 7, wherein each of the bracket fittings 5, 6 is formed of a combination of a fixing base plate 12 and a bracket 13 fixed to the base plate 12 and provided with a portion for connecting the connecting member 7, and the fixing angle of the bracket 13 to the base plate 12 is selectable.
