PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method which can efficiently manufacture a weather resistant label without discoloration and degradation of printed contents even if exposed to an outdoor environment, and the weather resistance label. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process comprises a printing process for printing a timing mark 9 indicating a die cutting position on a band-shaped label sheet 1 in a printer 10, a film laminating process by a laminate film laminating part 23 for laminating a laminate film 4 on the printing face of the label sheet 1 in a laminating apparatus 20, a die cutting process by a die cutting part 26 for carrying out die cutting of the label sheet 1 and the laminate film 4 into a label shape by detecting the timing mark 9 printed on the label sheet 1 by a timing mark detection part 25, and a dreg removing process by a dreg removing part 28 for removing the label sheet 1 and the laminate film 4 other than a label area 3 subjected to die cut by the die cutting process.
