The toothbrush has multiple bristles arranged on a bristle shaft in a longitudinal direction in such a manner that the bristles are provided on a tooth surface in a curved angular position in a direction of the gums, where the curved angular position amounts between 10 degree and 80 degree. The bristles are applied on the bristle shaft in an oblique angle of approximately 45 degree, where an arrangement of the bristles corresponds to a gable roof.
