A printing device and a printing method are provided to control a height of RGB patterns printed on a substrate, thereby uniformly maintaining a thickness of the RGB pattern printed on the substrate and accordingly implementing superior printing quality. A work stage(40) supports a substrate for performing a printing work of at least one of substantial RGB(Red, Green and Blue) patterns on the substrate. A press roll(70) is prepared to move to the work stage. To control a height of one pattern of the RGB patterns printed on the substrate, the press roll presses the substrate where at least one pattern of the RGB patterns is printed. The press roll comprises the following parts. A press roll body(80) is installed to rotate on an upper part of the substrate. An attachment/detachment unit(130) attaches/detaches a press sheet(81), formed in the outer circumference of the press roll body, to/from the press roll body.
