The present invention relates to a blade arm mechanism 100 for the windscreen wiper device, designed to be connected to a rotary drive mechanism having a primary transmission element and a secondary transmission element, together able to be rotated alternately with different angular amplitudes. The invention is noteworthy in that the blade arm mechanism 100 comprises a drive element 110, a rotary support 120 which is rotatable relative to the drive element 110, a wiper arm 130 which is axially rotatable relative to the rotary support 120, and a connecting element 140 hinged to the rotary support 120; in that the drive element 110 comprises a sector gear meshing with a sector gear formed on the wiper arm 130; and in that the rotation of the rotary support 120 relative to the drive element 110 brings about the rotation of the wiper arm 130.
